Started a quick read through of The Silmarillion. The Atlanta Tolkien Fans meetup group is transitioning from being primarily movie and movie speculation driven, to being more inclusively Tolkienian since Peter Jackson’s adaptations are nearly at an end. This is something that is making be excited about the future of the Tolkien Track at DragonCon. I’m missing it this year, but I’m hoping there will be room for a Tolkien scholar amidst all the Cosplay next year.
That’s my husband’s copy of The Silmarillion, by the way, all of mine are hardback. I need to pick up a beater copy for notes and travel.
